Hi everyone from Dockhead parish, my name is Chirag and I’m a parishioner here as well. I wanted to share details of my film The Cycle of Love directed by Oscar winner Orlando von Einsiedel and executive produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. It is the true story of PK a Dalit street artist who cycled from India to Sweden to be with the love of his life Lotta in 1977. This entire film is completely improvised and everyone I speak to along the journey is a real person. It’s been an honour to help tell this man’s story as it’s not just about romantic love but about human love. Something that Father Alan had shared with us so often during Mass. I also believe that PK’s message is an antidote for the forces that are trying to divide our world.
