Our parish has a fascinating history and was established as the first Catholic mission in Southwark in 1773. Our area, once a centre of dockland activity, has developed into a vibrant, multicultural part of London, where both wealth and poverty exist side by side.
But whoever we are, one thing has not changed: our need for Our Lord Jesus Christ, God who became human for us, and our desire to encounter him in his Church.
Whether you are a visitor, part of a longstanding Bermondsey family, have recently moved to the area, are returning to the Church, or simply want to discover more about the Catholic faith, you are very welcome here.
