Together we can achieve this goal and build a lasting legacy for Bermondsey. Here are some suggestions:
- Lump sum personal gifts (i.e. tax efficient giving)
- Monthly pledges to the Parish Centre Appeal (standing order)
- Purchase a memorial paving stone (£1000)
- Dedication on the Patron`s Wall (£2500)
- Sponsor an individual item in the fit-out (e.g., tables and chairs)
- Form a group to raise money to fit out a particular area e.g., kitchen; cloakrooms
- Legacy – leaving money in your will (i.e. a restricted donation to the Parish)
- Support parish fundraising events
(Please remember that, if you are a tax payer, any contribution can be easily gift-aided, which adds 25% to your donation without any impact on your tax affairs.)
There are lots of ways to raise funds. A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who came along to St Joseph’s Primary School on 22nd September to brainstorm further ideas and proposals. It was a terrific meeting, buzzing with energy and ideas! Watch this space for fundraising activities when they are announded.
