As a parish, our commitments extend beyond our faith community into the wider Bermondsey and London community. These are a few of the organisations which are connected to our parish.

Sisters of Mercy (external link) Our church has an important historic link with the Sisters of Mercy, who were established at Dockhead by Catherine McCauley in 1839.

CAFOD (external link) CAFOD is the official overseas development and relief agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. They work in over 60 countries around the world.

Southwark Helping Hands Club (external link) was started by Vera Keech, one of our parishioners, and now has over thirty members supported by over fourteen volunteers. The club offers a wide range of activities, workshops and holidays.  All the activities aspire to improve the lives of the members and expand their involvement in the local community.

St Michael’s Catholic College (external link) St Michael’s is a successful, well-ordered and caring Catholic comprehensive school for boys and girls aged from eleven to sixteen.

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School (external link) Founded in 1912 by Mother Camillus Dempsey and The Sisters of Mercy, St Joseph’s has been part of the parish community for over a hundred years.
